The vibrant Junior Girls' School achieves very
good results at KS1 and KS2 but in a gentle and encouraging way
so that pupils develop a love of learning and a thirst for
knowledge. As well as the National Curriculum, we provide
opportunities for the Performing Arts and we believe that
taking part in productions helps to increase the confidence of
our pupils.
The Curriculum
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum covering the
following subjects: Mathematics, English, Science, RE,
Art, Design and Technology, Physical Education, Music and
French. The teaching of these subjects combines a variety
of approaches such as practical work, research, written
recording, projects and discussion, thus offering
stimulating learning experiences to all pupils. The
curriculum is enriched through an extensive programme of
field trips and visitors to the school.
Sport
Pupils participate in a wide range of games and sports
throughout the year both on and off site. We also
boast a range of excellent sports teams and clubs
including netball, aerobics and rounders.
